Our department is hosting a pair of events where applicants can connect with current graduate students of color, LBGTQA+ students and allies. One is a breakfast for applicants who self-identify as members of racial or ethnic minorities and one is a brunch for LGBTQA+ applicants.
These events are not a part of the admissions process and have no bearing on your acceptance to the university. They are available as a resource for applicants applying to the Department of Psychology, and serve as an opportunity to ask current graduate students who identify as a racial/ethnic minority member or as part of the LGBTQA+ community questions about their experiences at UVA, in Charlottesville, and in a graduate psychology program
